TCU introduces upgraded Ethics & Compliance Hotline

One of TCU’s most important priorities is to create the best possible work environment for everyone in our campus community. TCU is a great place to work, with employees who are proud to work here, feel good about their jobs and are highly productive.

Each one of us, regardless of our position, shares the responsibility for creating and promoting an ethical culture. One way you can help is to share your concerns, questions and suggestions to your supervisor or manager, other University administrators or Compliance Officers.

If you don’t feel comfortable reporting your concerns to a University representative, TCU has recently upgraded to a new telephone and web-based reporting platform, the TCU Ethics & Compliance Hotline, which is managed by NAVEX Global’s EthicsPoint system. This hotline provides another way to communicate your concerns confidentially and anonymously, along with empowering you to promote safety, security and ethical behavior at TCU.

  • How does the system work? You make a report via the TCU Ethics & Compliance Hotline – a service managed by NAVEX Global’s EthicsPoint system. Reports submitted through the EthicsPoint secure server will be routed to a small triage group that evaluates the information and engages a university investigation team. This team will assign it to the appropriate person(s) and ensure the report is being addressed.
  • Who should use it? Everyone. It’s for all employees, regardless of location or position. The system is available via both the telephone and online. NAVEX Global EthicsPoint’s system supports a variety of languages.
  • What is it for? Use the system to express concerns, ask questions and offer ideas. Tell us what we’re doing right and what needs improvement. If you’d prefer, you can also remain anonymous.
  • How do I access it? Call 1-844-996-0283 or visit the tcu.ethicspoint.com and select “make a report online.” Reports can be submitted 24 hours/seven days a week from anywhere.

This new system allows you to communicate your concerns and enables you to remain anonymous if you so choose, while supporting university policies that reinforce the expectations that employees making a good faith report not be subject to retaliation. We have partnered with NAVEX Global to manage the reporting system for us. They have gone to great lengths to ensure that reports entered in the system are completely confidential. To learn more about this third-party service, visit tcu.ethicspoint.com and click the FAQ link.

Whether you need to report misconduct or suggest improvements directly or through this third-party service, TCU wants to hear from you. All reports will be reviewed and addressed appropriately. Please remember that the NAVEX Global EthicsPoint reporting platform is here for you — and our entire campus community.
