Nov. 5, 2018—TCU is a Tree Campus USA campus, certified for its efforts to effectively manage trees, develop connectivity with the communities that border our campus to foster urban forests and engage students in learning opportunities centered on forestry efforts. Last week, in celebration of Arbor Day, each of TCU’s Physical Plant vehicles displayed custom flags.

TCU has approximately 3,200 trees on campus and partners with the city of Fort Worth on urban forestry initiatives including maintenance of a portion of the median on University Drive and the Berry Street median from the Class of 2012 Gates east to the railroad tracks.
