The College of Education’s Early Childhood-Sixth Grade program received another national award. The Association of Teacher Educators announced TCU’s program as the Billy G. Dixon Distinguished Program in Teacher Education for 2020. It was announced at the group’s 100th annual meeting Feb. 18.
The national association established the award to recognize teacher education programs that serve as a model for collaboration between higher education institutions and local education agencies. TCU was named a finalist for the award for two consecutive years.
