You’ll explore today’s most complex environmental challenges and develop meaningful solutions to advance sustainability at local, national and global levels. Areas of study include climate change, biodiversity, urban sustainability, environmental justice and natural resource management, offering a wide range of opportunities for fieldwork, research and internships. The program focuses on responsible stewardship, with natural sciences as the foundation courses and a flexible curriculum that allows both breadth in interest and depth in specific areas of study.

Environmental science graduates work around the world in areas of local, state and national government, as well as industry, education and consulting. They have pursued graduate study in areas such as environmental engineering, water chemistry, botany, geographic information systems, marine sciences, wildlife management and natural resources.
